My background…
Photography has always been a part of my life. Four other family members are professional photographers and I grew up with a Dad who was passionate about photography! I started photography in Year 10 and subsequently completed a Bachelor of Design, (Visual Communication) in Photography and Graphic Design from University of Western Sydney in 1996, and now have 24+ years experience working as a photographer and graphic designer.
I became an Associate Photographer with the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) in 2018 and a Master of Photography (Distinction) with the NZIPP (New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography) in 2021. Among many awards I have also won a few special titles both in Australia and internationally, including 2017 AIPP NSW Family Photographer of the Year, 3rd Place - Family: 2018 WPPI (Las Vegas), 3rd Place Family: 2019 RISE International Awards, and in 2019 I won the AIPP Australian Family Photographer of the Year.
Something you don’t know about me…
I love motorbikes! I was the Spare Parts manager in a Sydney motorcycle dealer and raced historic road bikes for 8 years… loved every second of it, and yes, I still have my race bike. Life’s too short not to have a little fun!!
At home I have a beautiful supportive husband and we have three amazing boys, plus two awesome rescue Fox Terriers named Horace and Amber.
